RINSE AND DRAIN TECHNOLOGY
Reel-to-reel electroplating lines from KF
PRODUCTION WITHOUT WASTEWATER
Minimize your wastewater treatment costs during the coating process.
Innovative rinsing technology
By combining our new rinsing towers – in connection with an intelligent post-arrangement of the cascades – we can reduce the amount of wastewater to a minimum. Depending on the product and the number of rinsing steps, we even manage to reduce the amount of wastewater to 0 l/h during the coating process, which lowers the costs for wastewater treatment incurred by our customers enormously. This means that wastewater systems for new investments can be designed much smaller or can even be omitted altogether.
PRODUCTION WITHOUT STAINS
With the combination of efficient rinsing and a subsequent cold-warm-cold drying process, we ensure that our customers’ products are spotless at the end.
DRAIN TECHNOLOGY 2.0
Conventional reel-to-reel electroplating lines are often still operated with compressed air. The “K” in KF doesn’t stand for “konventional”.

Compressed air is by far the most expensive way to ensure the required effectiveness when draining the belts between rinsing steps. Purchasing compressors of this performance class is costly and requires a lot of electricity during operation. Why was used as a technical solution in the past? It’s because the previously available processes were only able to function reliably with high air pressure.
We put pressure on compressed air – with just
0.7 bar.
The KF air blades set new standards in drain technology.

A mere 0.7 bar is required for effective blow-offs, which means that it is not necessary to use compressors to provide the required air volume; side channel blowers are completely sufficient. Together, the purchasing and running costs are just one third of the compressor solution.
