What does this job entail?
Process mechanics (m\/f\/d) for plastics and rubber technology, specializing in components, learn all the important things about the two main materials \u2013 plastic and rubber. They plan the production of pipeline parts and systems, components and assemblies based on order data and drawings. To do this, they select suitable materials and the corresponding auxiliary materials, set up the production machines and systems, and monitor the manufacturing process. In processing and post-processing, they drill, grind or mill components. They also bond individual components e.g., by gluing or welding them.
